Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: email address, display name, password hash (handled by our authentication provider) or Google sign-in identifier.
• Content you upload: video and audio files, written sources, transcripts, generated clips, captions and articles.
• Connected account credentials: access and refresh tokens for the platforms you link. These are encrypted at rest and only used to publish and read back metrics on your instruction.
• Performance data: impressions, likes, comments, shares and clicks pulled from platforms for the posts you published.
• Billing data: subscription status and plan. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, never by us.
• Technical data: log and error information needed to keep the service working.

Why we use it

To run your account, transcribe and repurpose your media, publish on your instruction, report performance, take payment, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Where required, our legal basis is performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, or your consent.

Automated processing

Transcripts and drafts are produced by machine learning models operated by our processors. Your content is sent to them solely to generate your output. We do not sell your data and we do not use your content to train public models.

Who we share it with

Processors acting on our behalf: our hosting, database and storage provider, our model and web research providers, Stripe for payments, and the social and blog platforms you choose to connect. We share only what each needs. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Retention

Content stays until you delete it. Deleting your account removes your media, transcripts, posts and tokens from active systems within 30 days; backups age out shortly after. Invoice records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. California residents may request disclosure or deletion and will not be treated differently for asking. Email support@rebroadcast.app and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only cookies and local storage that are needed to keep you signed in and to run checkout. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Platform tokens are encrypted at rest with per-record keys, and database access is restricted per user. No system is perfectly secure; tell us immediately if you spot a problem.

Children and international transfers

The service is not for anyone under 18. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate, with appropriate safeguards.
